By accessing this site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We may revise these terms & conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The terms and conditions set out here may vary from time to time at its sole discretion with/without notice to you and you acknowledge that the usage of this website constitutes your agreement to all the terms and conditions in force for the time being as set out herein.
RESERVATIONS
1. All room reservations, enquiries, or cancellations please contact Swiss Avenue Hotel at mail@swissavenuehotel.com.my.
2. Payment for the 1st night of your accommodation must be made at the time of booking, and the balance nights to be paid at the hotel. All bookings will be charged to via a payment instrument made available by us from time to time i.e credit or debit card, online transfer or cash. For the walk-in guests, payment by valid credit card and/or cash. Please note that your booking is only valid if you receive a valid reference number sent to your email address by Swiss Avenue Hotel.
3. Please make sure to receive a reservation confirmation number when you make a reservation and if you do not receive a Booking Confirmation number in 24 hours, please contact us at 04-422 3333/04-425 9100 or email to mail@swissavenuehotel.com.my.
4. All bookings are subject to availability.
5. Reservations must be cancelled three (3) days before your arrival date, in order to avoid a one (1) room night, plus tax cancellation fee. If you have not checked in, a NO-SHOW and 1 night room charge and tax will be charged to your credit card and the balance of your reservations will be cancelled. Swiss Avenue Hotel is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes.
6. Upon check-in, you will be required to provide your credit card for verification/or pay a miscellaneous deposit for your stay. At the time of check-out from our hotel, your deposit of RM50.00/night will be returned to you (minus (if any) any amount deducted for the above damage and/loss of Swiss Avenue Hotel property.
ROOMS
1. Our rooms vary between Deluxe, Superior and Suite. During the booking process, should the type of room you require not available, then an alternative one will be displayed subject to the availability. At all material times during your booking process, please ensure that your booking reflects exactly as per your requirement i.e booking dates, room types, room rates, number of guest(s) etc in proper manner, failing which, we shall not be responsible and/or liable for your booking.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIME
1. Swiss Avenue Hotel operates on a strict arrival check-in and check-out policy.
- Check In Time = 3:00 P.M onwards
- Check Out Time = 12:00 P.M
2. If you require a later check-out, please contact Front Desk prior to the day of your departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Additional charge will be imposed without further notice to the guest.
GUEST REGISTRATION
1. Guest registration and check-in is restricted to those 18 years of age or older with valid identification.
2. We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, address, phone number, and signature. Information regarding your license plate/car description is also gathered at check-in for security.
NO SHOW CHARGES
Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date for a reservation guaranteed with a credit card will result in a No-Show fee being charged to your credit card. You will only be charged the first night, one (1) night’s full room rate plus taxes and the balance of the reservation will be cancelled.
CHANGES & CANCELLATION
1. Once bookings made and/or guest(s) checked in, bookings are non-refundable.
2. Any changes regarding the date, room category, duration of stay of your booking will require you to cancel your initial booking and re-book your stay with the Hotel.
3. If you cancel three (3) days before your arrival date, the total amount (100%) of the reservation will be refund.
4. Any cancellation or amendment of your booking MUST be done/made 2 days before your scheduled check-in date.
5. Reservations must be cancelled three (3) days before your arrival date, in order to avoid a one (1) night full room cancellation fee. If reservations are cancelled less than three (3) days before the arrival date, your credit card may be charged for the full room charge plus taxes. If you are staying more than one (1) night, only the first night and taxes will be charged. If you cancel any reservation, you must obtain and save the cancellation number for your records.
HOUSEKEEPING
Housekeeping is provided daily between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Housekeeping may start as early as 8.00 AM. during peak season. Rooms are cleaned and inspected daily and a detailed log is maintained on each room and linen. If our investigation concludes that you have smoked in your room, cooked, or brought a prohibited item into our facility, you will be fined, and evicted without any refund.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor or room number, adjoining rooms, extra beds, etc. upon your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.
PAYMENT
All reservations and registration must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. We accept Visa and Master Card. Credit cards must be signed. Cash (MYR) payment is welcomed with a signed and pre-authorized credit card. All guests are required to present a valid major credit card and government issued photo identification even if guests are planning on paying in cash upon check-out. Checks and foreign currency not accepted. We do not accept personal cheque for any payment.
CHILDREN
Children aged 12 and below stay for free when sharing a room with one or more paying adult(s), using existing bedding. As the parents, guardians, or chaperones of children you are personally and legally responsible for and must supervise them at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel property unsupervised.
EXTRA BED
Extra bed is available upon request. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. The charge is RM70.00 nett inclusive breakfast. Maximum capacity of the extra bed is one (1) per room.
DAMAGE
1. You are liable for any damage caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s), hotel’s premise or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay.
2. Swiss Avenue Hotel reserves the absolute right to commence any legal action or proceedings against the guests in relation to any damages incurred to the rooms or to the property while in the premise.
3. Swiss Avenue Hotel reserves the absolute right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit /debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Swiss Avenue Hotel as a result of the aforesaid.
4. If the costs of damages are unable to recover fully from the credit/debit card, our hotel shall commence a legal proceedings against the guests without prior notice.
5. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialist to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
PARKING AT OWN RISK
All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registration at check-in. Parking for registered guest(s) is free. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Swiss Avenue Hotel shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property. If a vehicle is left in the hotel parking lot after the guest has departed (30 days) without the written consent of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
LOST & FOUND POLICY
1. The hotel is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of cash, jewelry or other valuables/belongings left in guest rooms. Please do not leave important personal belongings or valuables items in the guest room.
2. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
3. The hotel is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to fourteen (14) days. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has found. Perishable items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries are discarded.
4. The hotel does not ship or mail items back to guests. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to retrieve their own lost property. Should the personal property not be retrieved within the first 2 weeks, the guest agrees that the hotel can donate or dispose of the personal property at their own discretion.
SMOKING POLICY
The hotel room, restaurants and public areas are 100% non-smoking. Persons caught smoking in a smoke-free area can be compound from RM250 to RM350, fined RM10,000 or jailed up to two years by the Malaysian government. Guests who are found smoking in our hotel room will be subject to a RM200 cleaning fee.
FACILITIES
1. Swimming Pools are open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Swimming is at your own risk, as there are no lifeguards on duty. Children under 12 years old must be supervised.
2. Gym is open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The hotel shall not be held liable for any incidents that may occur. Children are not allowed in the gym.
PET POLICY
No pets are allowed at this property.
VENDOR VISIT POLICY
Vendor visits from outside the resort, which include package deliveries and food deliveries (Foodpanda, GrabFood, outside restaurant deliveries) are restricted.
WEBSITE
Swiss Avenue Hotel reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, vary or add to these Hotel Policies/House Rules or the arrangements and content featured on our Hotel website at any time without prior notice. Please check our website regularly for updates to Hotel Policy/House Rules. Any modification to these Hotel Policy/House Rules that occurs before your departure is considered a part of your reservations agreement with us.
